Juliana Vallarino understands the power of being proactive. That’s why she excels as a Medical Coder II at Advantasure, working from an assigned roster and reviewing medical records to ensure doctors are reporting chronic conditions. Her work makes an impact for customers and their members by confirming accurate insurance coverage, preventing hospitalizations, and meeting compliance standards.
Her role is a critical piece that supports the Risk Adjustment and Program Management offerings at Advantasure. She frequently collaborates with team members who build tailored programs for customers that effectively target members, drive provider engagement, and much more.
As a member of the team since 2016, Juliana watched the company grow and evolve from DDS to Advantasure, a UST HealthProof Company. During that time, her knowledge of the industry and medical treatments has evolved, too.
“Coding requires constantly evolving medical expertise,” Juliana says. “My peers and I must understand diseases, medications, and treatments in order to best do our jobs.”
